Raffle for Institutional Action Plan Submitters
We are now in the final weeks of collecting 2012 Institutional Action Plans (IAPs) for inclusion in the State of the Microcredit Summit Campaign Report 2013, which will be released at the end of the year. We have so far collected 660 IAPs and are hard at work getting the data verified by a third party.
For this last push to the finish line, we are offering 10 institutional profiles on the Campaign blog, written by our staff after interviewing a representative from your organization. That’s 10 chances to win!
This raffle is open to those who submit their 2012 Institutional Action Plan (IAP) before Friday, September 14, 2012.
How it works: The first 25 completed IAPs that we receive between August 10 and September 14, will be entered (along with the 660 IAPs already received) in a raffle to win one of these prizes. All Councils are eligible for this contest.
For a chance to be featured, also submit a 600 word description of your work supporting microfinance (in English, Spanish, or French) and, optionally your logo and photos of your work. Non-English descriptions will be translated into English for the blog. All descriptions may be edited for grammar and length.
Each week, we feature the work of one Campaign member on our blog (members to be selected at random from qualified participants). To read what other Campaign members are doing, read past Institutional Action Plan Raffle winners’ blog posts.
We urge you to submit your IAP by September 14, 2012 to share how you are contributing to achieving the Campaign’s two goals. The Campaign is eager to continue its partnership with you. Submit your IAP, and you will also be…
- listed in Appendix III in the State of the Microcredit Summit Campaign Report 2013.
- eligible to receive a certificate of appreciation.
- eligible to register as a “delegate” for the 2013 Summit.
To download your IAP form, select from the drop down menu above. For versions in Spanish or French, click on the tabs at the top of the website.
About the Institutional Action Plan
The Institutional Action Plan is the basic building block of the Microcredit Summit Campaign. Council Members, whether institution or individual, agree to develop an action plan each year in which they specify the contribution that they intend to make toward the fulfillment of the Campaign’s two goals. Further, Council Members agree to report each year on the progress made in the previous 12 months.
The Campaign Secretariat has developed Institutional Action Plan (IAP) forms for each Council to assist in the development of action plans that reflect the principles outlined in the Microcredit Summit Declaration and Plan of Action. The IAP contains quantitative goals, a description of methods, and a timetable for implementation and facilitates the sharing of bold and innovative plans.
