The Institutional Action Plan is the basic building block of the Microcredit Summit Campaign. This year the Campaign is seeking Institutional Action Plans from only the members of the Council of Microfinance Practitioners and Associations, whether located in developing or industrialized countries. If you are not a practitioner, please see the section below labeled “New Membership Structure.”
By filling out an IAP, members of the Council of Microfinance Practitioners and Associations report on the progress they have made over the past year in providing financial and non-financial services to the most vulnerable and poorest populations and the number of clients that have moved out of poverty.
Please complete the appropriate action form found at the bottom of this page, and when you have completed your IAP, EITHER print and fax the form back to the Microcredit Summit Campaign Secretariat at +1-202-466-1396 OR e-mail it to info@microcrocreditsummit.org.
If you have any questions, please contact the Secretariat at info@microcrocreditsummit.org.
New Membership Structure
The membership structure of the Campaign is changing this year and we have consolidated the 16 Councils into 6 groupings for stakeholders with similar goals and roles in the industry. Take a look at the diagram below to learn which Council is yours.

Members of the non-practitioner Councils are asked to complete a Campaign Commitment Form found on the Campaign Councils page in which members specify the contribution that they intend to make toward the fulfillment of the Campaign's two goals in the coming year. Further, Council members agree to report each year on the progress made in the previous 12 months. Use the Commitment Form to propose measurable goals, a description of methods, and a timetable for implementation.
Share your bold and innovative plans today.
If you have any questions, please contact the Secretariat at info@microcrocreditsummit.org.
