Ideally speaking, microcredit helps people overcome a lack of steady employment or capital to participate in the economy. But many beneficiaries of microcredit dwell in urban areas. If the experience of other aspiring entrepreneurs in cities around the United States is any indicator.at least of trends in the developed world. Microlenders will need to take into account the maze of regulatory red tape enveloping would-be entrepreneurs before they even get started.
