As of December 31, 2006, 3,316 microcredit institutions reported reaching 133,030,913 clients, 92,922,574 of whom were among the poorest when they took their first loan. Assuming five persons per family, the 92.9 million poorest clients reached by the end of 2006 affected some 464.6 family members.
