Summit Campaign. This issue features the final reports from the Africa Region
Microcredit Summit Meeting of Councils (ARMS) held October 8-12 in Harare,
Zimbabwe and the Asia Pacific Region
Microcredit Summit Meeting of Councils (APRMS) held February 1-5, 2001 in
New Delhi, India. The coverage of the
meetings consists of excerpts from the plenary sessions discussing the
papers commissioned by the Summit as well as Institutional Action Plan (IAP)
presentations by Councils Members. This issue also includes an
interview with Elizabeth Littlefield, Director of the Consultative Group to
Assist the Poorest (CGAP) addressing the twin goals of CGAP—sustainability
and deepening poverty outreach. Listed in the issue are also the names
of institutions that submitted their IAP for the year 2000.
