Best Practices highlights leaders from institutions that are demonstrating one or more of the Microcredit Summit Campaign's four core themes: reaching the poorest, reaching and empowering women, building financially self-sufficient institutions, and ensuring a positive, measurable impact on the lives of clients and their families. These leaders provide insight into dealing with the challenges that are faced in meeting the core themes.

Institutional Action Plans is a second section from our newsletter, highlighting the Institutional Action Plan, the basic building block of the Microcredit Summit Campaign. The Institutional Action Plan (IAP) outlines the work an organization has done and intends to do to further the goal and core themes of the Microcredit Summit Campaign. IAPs are submitted annually by members of the Campaign.

Papers Commissioned by the Microcredit Summit—these papers were prepared for the Microcredit Summit Campaign by leaders in the field of microcredit. The papers address challenges in meeting the core themes of the Summit, and have been discussed in Plenary Session at various Microcredit Summit meetings over the past several years.
