During the past decade, the Campaign has organized 12 conferences attended by more than 14,000 people, in order to track progress, examine trends, debate scholarly papers, and provide training to practitioners that was relevant to accelerating their progress towards expanding outreach to the very poor. The Campaign spent less than $12 million during the period 1997-2007, while the amount of microloans in the hands of the poor has expanded from an estimated $1 billion to $15 billion, demonstrating the significant leverage possible when an international campaign is able to mobilize millions of people and institutions on a global basis. -Alex Counts, President, Grameen Foundation

Leaving your Legacy
Include the Microcredit Summit Campaign in your will and help ensure our work well into the future. You can make a bequest to MCS as a percentage of your total estate; as a specific dollar amount; or as a remainder of your estate after all other bequests have been made. We urge you to consult with your attorney or tax advisor when making an estate provision and we invite you to also share your estate plans with us so that we can recognize your intentions. Gift of Stock
Support The Microcredit Summit Campaign’s work and save on capital-gains taxes by making a gift of securities. Stock gifts can be transferred directly to our broker. Please notify us of the transfer to ensure proper crediting of the donation. Upon completion of the transfer, a receipt and acknowledgment will be sent.
